Slow news weekend. But that’s to be expected, covering the strange and unusual; if it was common and commonplace, you could just sit in your living room and read the sofa.
Spied on the way home from the beach last Summer, and surely proving something about the human ability to grow used to just about anything:

Huh. Actually, a quick Google search turns up this appropriate quote, which no doubt you are quite familiar with:
“Ra-di-a-tion. Yes, indeed. You hear the most outrageous lies about it. Half-baked goggle-box do-gooders telling everybody it’s bad for you. Pernicious nonsense. Everybody could stand a hundred chest X-rays a year. They ought to have them, too.”
